About Us!

The Cabbage Rose was established in December of 1997 by Karen O'Neill. We started with only a few bolts of fabric and have grown to over 8,000 different fabrics from Moda, Free Spirit, Rowan, Riley Blake, RJR, P&B, Benartex, Michael Miller and more. We carry quilting cottons, home decor fabrics, batiks, laminates and flannels! We also carry plenty of patterns, kits and books for endless projects to keep you creative and inspired. The quilt shop is located in a 5,000 sq/ft space, allowing lots of room for classes, workshops and for sewers to spread out and share their treasures!

We are located minutes from Fort Worth's cultural district featuring the world famous Kimball Art Museum, as well as Amon G. Carter Museum of Science and History, Modern Art Museum, the Cowgirl Museum and many other attractions. Located within this district is plenty of local shopping, antique malls and wonderful restaurants. Our friendly staff is always glad to help you start a new project or find just the right piece to finish an existing one.
